Rubber-surface island with bollard
Pedestrian island with a yellow rubber kerb and a signal bollard with a keep-right/left sign. Three versions: a full island with rubber surface, a compact island with sign for narrow spots, and a stand-alone signal bollard. We pick the right one for the road width and crossing.

1. Island with rubber surface
Pedestrian refuge island: a continuous anti-slip rubber tile surface and a bright yellow kerb. Placed in the middle of a wide crossing so pedestrians can wait safely.

2. Compact island with sign
Small rubber base with a post and reflective keep-right/left sign. For narrow spots, the start of a median and temporary schemes; quick to install and gentle on vehicles.

3. Signal bollard with sign
Tapered polyethylene bollard with a reflective keep-right/left sign mask (4.2.1, 4.2.2, 4.2.3). Placed at the nose of an island or median. Filled with rubber crumb or sand through the neck, so it is stable and absorbs impacts.
