How to choose a speed bump for a yard, school or car park
A speed bump should slow traffic without disrupting normal driving. So start with two questions: what speed is needed here, and what vehicles use this road.
For yards and car parks a low profile is usually enough — cars pass calmly without hard braking. On streets and near schools, where speed must drop noticeably, wider modules are chosen.
Fixing matters too: speed bumps are anchored to an even base and end pieces close off the ends. Before installation, check that no utilities run under the spot.
